FAQ

There is minimal downtime after microneedling. Most people can resume regular activities within a day or two, although redness and sensitivity may persist for up to 72 hours.

Side effects are generally mild but may include redness, swelling, dryness, or peeling. In rare cases, infection or pigmentation changes can occur. It's important to follow aftercare instructions to reduce the risk of complications.

Microneedling

Microneedling, also known as Collagen Induction Therapy (CIT), is a medical cosmetic procedure to help skin to make more collagen, resulting in smoother, healthier and brighter looking skin. In the process, fine needles puncture the skin to cause a controlled injury and induce the skin to make more collagen. To make this procedure more effective, concentrated hyaluronic acid gel and glycerine are infused by the microneedling device to enrich the skin with hydration. “Controlled damage” instructs the skin to heal slowly and correctively. After healing, damaged skin is replaced by new skin with improved structure, firmness and elasticity.
