There is minimal downtime after microneedling. Most people can resume regular activities within a day or two, although redness and sensitivity may persist for up to 72 hours.
Side effects are generally mild but may include redness, swelling, dryness, or peeling. In rare cases, infection or pigmentation changes can occur. It's important to follow aftercare instructions to reduce the risk of complications.
Microneedling, also known as Collagen Induction Therapy (CIT), is a medical cosmetic procedure to help skin to make more collagen, resulting in smoother, healthier and brighter looking skin.
